Many regular Victoria Fringe-goers will be familiar with Rob Gee. His shows SmartArse and Fruitcake were well-received in past years. This comic, poet and reformed psychiatric nurse now returns with Forget Me Not, a whodunit on an Alzheimer ward.
Forget Me Not has already received rave reviews in Winnipeg. CBC Manitoba describes the show as “part social commentary, part black comedy, and part Clue” where “Gee has used the whodunit trope as a way to expose the real-life indignities of living with late stage dementia.”
Rob Gee joined me by phone to discuss his show. Listen below.
Forget Me Not plays at St Ann’s Academy and opens on Tuesday, August 27 at 6pm. For more showtimes click here.
