Something Like A War

Corin Wrigley as Young Ty Cobb--Something Like a War

Many of you may be familiar with the baseball legend, Ty Cobb. This infamous outfielder had a career in the major leagues spanning 24 years in which he earned the nickname, “The Georgia Peach.” He also earned a reputation for his temperament that has been portrayed in films and theatre throughout the 20th century. Fringe performer Corin Wrigley wrote and created Something Like A War to tell the true story of Ty Cobb and remove the negative stigma surrounding his name. Directed by Brian Wrigley, these two brothers returned to Fringe this year with a story of a life surrounded by mystery and false accusations. The brothers visited the CFUV studio to chat about their experience putting this show together and what the audience can expect.

Something Like A War kicks off Thursday, August 22nd at the Metro Studio.

Until next time,
